Chiropractic Services
We offer chiropractic services and techniques aimed at restoring joint function. Chiropractic manipulation is a proven, safe and effective way to improve musculoskeletal conditions.
Through chiropractic adjustments we can improve joint mechanics, range of motion, and overall functionality; help reduce localized pain and discomfort in the spine and neck; and help relax tight and stiff muscles that support the spine.
soft tissuE services
Soft tissue typically refers to the skin or scar tissue, musculature, and fascia (FASH-UH) of the body. The services we provide are meant to find areas of dysfunction within those systems and help correct them. These services often produce immediate, noticeable, and measurable results in the body.
Soft tissue services are useful for helping improve range of motion/motion pattern control; reducing pain; improving a muscle's ability to contract; and recovering from new injuries and swelling.
Services include Myofascial Release (MFR), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), and Cupping therapy.
movement analysis
We utilize a combination of Functional Movement Screen (FMS) systems and visual analysis to fully understand your movements and analyze them to discover where your problem areas are.
The FMS uses a scoring system to quantitatively show an individual's ability to move their body through a series of movements. Once you have your score, it will also show where the problems are in those movements.
Our clinicians are also highly educated in biomechanical analysis. This means sometimes we can find the source of your pain just by watching the way you move.
Kinesiology/Biomechanical taping
We are proud to offer taping services using top brands like Rocktape and Dynamic Tape. Kinesiology and Biomechanical taping services are great for helping correct joint mechanics in the body, reducing pain and inflammation, and taking mechanical load and stress off of injured or overloaded tissues.
On average the tape lasts for 3-5 days with a single application. These tapes work through contact with the skin, and as such we may ask that certain areas of the body have reduced amounts of hair (Gentlemen, we're looking at you and your legs for knee taping!) in order for the tape to stick.
therapeutic exercise
We offer customized exercise plans based on your condition and goals, designed to get you feeling better and moving well.
In the office we utilize a combination of teaching you new movements, cueing familiar movements, and taking you through exercises that will help you recover and perform better.
In many cases you will also be asked to perform specific exercises and movements at home.
